Collaborative CTE Project

As the Business & Marketing teacher, I have started a collaborative work with the Family & Consumer Science, and Agri-science teachers to design, develop and implement projects that are cross ciricular. Projects include a Spring Fashion Show where Fashion Design students design and create apparel. Event Planning students plan and arrange for the event. Business & Marketing students develop marketing plans for the apparel while Multi-media Design students create Web site, advertisements, banners and programs. The Agri-science students enrolled in Building Construction build runways, staging and props for the event.

21st Century Workforce Bond

Currently developing an aggressive Federal 21st Century Bond request in order to develop a Career Technical Program that provides competencies that enables students with the required principles, concepts, attitudes, and skills for advanced study or employment to compete in today's global economy. In order to continue to develop Beulah High School's CTE program and Career Clusters must improve student achievement by providing students with the relevant contets for studying and learning by linking school-based learning with the knowledge and skills required for successs in the workplace.
