​Being a teacher and coach enables me to share the many wonderful and unique opportunities throughout my career. Some of these opportunities have allowed me to be published in nearly every major news publication around the globe including covers of the New York Times and twice featured on CNN. Collections of my photography work are showcased in galleries in New York, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta. My work can also be seen on numerous covers and inside top ten best selling books across the nation. In 2001, I was selected to photograph the inauguration of President George W. Bush. I also served at the technical advisor in the film industry for CMT's feature film 'Broken Bridges' starring Toby Keith, Burt Reynolds, Kelly Preston and Willie Nelson. In 2008, I became East Alabama's only Certified Professional Photographer by the Professional Photographers Certification Commission. I have been a member and taught for the Professional Photographers of America for over 20 years and served on various PPA committees. I retired from the U.S. Army in 2005 after serving combat tours during Desert Shield/Storm, Afghanistan and Iraq. In 2009, I returned to college and graduated from Auburn University's College of Education, Business & Marketing program. I am currently continuing my education at Auburn University while teaching and coaching at Beulah High School in Lee County, Alabama.
